At Riverton Primary Campus we value our connections to the land, the history of the past and our involvement in the present.
We respect Wadjuk Noongar Culture and demonstrate our appreciation of living on Wadjuk Land where we partake in meaningful learning opportunities that connect us to the land that we call Riverton Primary Campus. As you walk in the gate you are welcomed to Noongar land through signage and Wadjuk Noongar language that adorns the windows of our office along with the many other cultural languages that make our school an amazing place to learn and engage. Each area of the school is named after a season and children learn about these and so much more by being enveloped in a curriculum encouraging the knowledge of Aboriginal Peoples.
At Riverton Primary Campus we take advantage of the ability to bring knowledgeable people to our school to learn about History and Geography and we also have opportunities to go out into the community on excursions to encourage a deep learning of curriculum areas.
