Enclosed is the schedule of contributions and charges for 2024. The schedule is broken into four sections and will allow families to calculate all costs relating to education that they may incur throughout the school year.
This is a requirement of the School Education Act 1999 and will understandably be very useful in enabling families to budget for such an important area of the expenditure.
The total amount of voluntary contributions parents and carers are being asked to pay in 2024 has been contained within the $60.00 maximum set in the School Education Regulations 2000.
Money collected will be used to supplement school expenditure in curriculum areas. While Contributions are voluntary, the quality of our teaching and learning program is enhanced when each family makes a contribution, supplementing funding gained from other sources, including the State and Commonwealth Governments.
The costs are for the whole school year and represents $1.50 per week in years K – 6.
